Rooh e Alfaaz

"Rooh-e-Alfaaz" is a platform to promote culture of poetry, revive poetry recitation, and to encourage budding poets to find soul of the words.

In the words of John Keating from ‘Dead poets society’, “We do not read and write poetry because it is cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race, and the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for”.

To be a part of our initiative you have to follow these instructions:

1.Drop us a mail on [email protected] with your work sample.

2.An audio/ video sample of one of your works. Preferably in video format.

3.No plagiarism will be tolerated.

4.Language can be English,Hindi or Urdu for your poetry work.
